FAQs
How is the product applied?
Our trained technicians utilize various methods to deliver superior results. Germ Assault uses a combination of;
Electrostatic Sprayers for disinfecting areas sensitive to moisture.
High pressure, low volume, truck mounted units to deliver a fine mist across large areas.
Traditional spray bottles for spot treatment of high touch areas.
How quickly can I return to my business or home after disinfection?
In most cases, within 20 minutes of application. We just ask that you wait for the product to dry.
What product do you use?
Germ Assault uses a hospital-grade disinfectant/detergent, cleaner, sanitizer, fungicide, mildewstat, virucide, deodorizer that cleans and controls the hazard of cross-contamination from environmental surfaces. Our product is designed for use on walls, countertops, fixtures, restroom and shower rooms, and other hard surfaces where disinfecting is a must.
How often should I disinfect surfaces?
This is a hard question to answer. Our disinfection service does not provide residual control, meaning that new sources of virus and bacteria can emit microbes that will again survive on those surfaces. Disinfection on a regular basis is needed in order to retreat surfaces that may have been recontaminated.
Who should use disinfection services?
Hospitals, nursing homes, schools, homes, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, lodging establishments, retail business, athletic/recreation facilities, sports stadiums, amphitheaters and convention centers where housekeeping is of prime importance in controlling cross-contamination from treated surfaces.
Do I need to wipe food surfaces after disinfection?
No, we use an EPA registered product with FDA clearance under 40 CFR §180.940 for use as a sanitizer on food contact surfaces. The product does not need to be rinsed or wiped after application.
